Jennifer Romales Choi

Jennifer Romales Choi is Gale's founder, CEO and captain, and she has lived many of the seasons Gale is built for. A former triathlete, Spartan obstacle course racer and bodybuilding competitor. A single mother who raised her two daughters while building a career, and now a proud grandmother. A lifelong learner who pursued an educational doctorate (Ed.D.) in Organizational Change and Leadership at the University of Southern California (USC) and spent nearly two decades in tech.
She has also known what it is to lose almost everything and rebuild from nothing. She knows the juggling, the starting over, the caring for everyone but yourself, because she has lived it at every stage of her life. Whoever you are and wherever you're starting from, she has likely stood somewhere close.
She grew up in a Filipino Chinese American family where nobody talked about women's health. Being skinny was the goal. So when her body quietly changed in her 40s, into uncharted territory, she had no map. To navigate it, she had to find a plan that changed with her body. She went from confusion to clarity, and from clarity to agency.
Along the way, she longed for community. Surrounded by people, she still felt alone in what was happening to her body. She got tired of waiting for that community to appear, so she's creating it.
Gale is a movement to empower every woman to be the captain of her own ship, and of her own life. Jenn has brought aboard a talented crew, led mostly by passionate women, to sail it with her.
As a FemTech pioneer, she's building technology designed around women's needs from day one: protecting your data like it's her own, and keeping real humans at the heart of every AI answer.
