01Accepting these terms

By visiting galemeter.com or using any Gale service, you agree to these Terms of Use. If you don't agree, please don't use the site. These terms apply to the website only; the Gale app will have its own terms when it launches.

02What Gale is

Gale is a wellness app designed to help people understand how their hormonal cycle affects how they feel day to day. It is not a medical device, and it does not provide medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment. Always talk with your healthcare provider before making changes to your health routine. In an emergency, call 911.

03Your account

When you join the Gale community, you agree to provide accurate information and keep it current. You're responsible for keeping your login credentials secure. Tell us right away at [email protected] if you think your account has been compromised.

04Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use the site for any unlawful purpose.
• Try to break in, probe or scan for vulnerabilities, bypass security features or rate limits, or overload the site or its systems. If you find a security issue, please report it to [email protected].
• Upload or transmit viruses, malware or other harmful code.
• Scrape, crawl or otherwise collect data from the site, including to train AI models, without our written permission. Search engines that follow our robots.txt are fine.
• Collect personal information about other users or visitors.
• Copy, mirror or frame the site, or remove any copyright or other notices.
• Send spam or harmful content through our forms.
• Pretend to be someone else or misrepresent your affiliation with any person or organization.

All content on galemeter.com — including text, graphics, logos, and the Body Meteorologist™ trademark — is owned by or licensed to Gale Meter, Inc. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works without our written permission.

06Disclaimers

The site and its content are provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We don't warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of viruses or other harmful components.

07Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Gale Meter, Inc. will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of the site, even if we have been advised of the possibility of such damages.

08Governing law and venue

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict-of-law rules. If you are a California resident, nothing in these Terms limits any rights you have under California law that cannot be waived by contract. Nothing in these Terms limits any non-waivable rights you have under the consumer protection laws of your place of residence. Any legal action arising out of or relating to these Terms or the Site will be brought exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Los Angeles County, California, and you and Gale consent to personal jurisdiction there. Either party may bring an individual claim in small claims court where eligible.

09Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. When we do, we'll update the date at the top of this page. Continued use of the site after changes are posted means you accept the updated terms.
